The Radeon HD 7000 series will soon be supplemented with more models in lower price ranges, it reveals a leaked roadmap from MSI. According to the table, AMD plans to launch no less than four new models before the end of the quarter.

The most recent is the Radeon HD 7770 and 7750, which will be launched on 15 February. The newcomers replace today’s mid-range Radeon HD 6790 and contain 1 GB of GDDR5 memory and according to previous rumors 896 and 832 stream processors in 900 MHz. Prices land at 149 and 139 USD, respectively, which corresponds to approximately 1,300 and 1,250 kronor including VAT.
In March, it’s time for two more pair of horses. Radeon HD 7870 and HD 7850 enter the class under the flagships of the 7900 series with, among other things, 2 GB of GDDR5 memory on (probably) 256-bit memory bus. Rumor has it that the graphics cards are equipped with 1,408 and 1,280 stream processors, respectively, and that the prices end up at 299 and 249 USD. This corresponds to Swedish price tags of SEK 2,500 and SEK 2,100, including VAT.
