MSI shows the 3.5 "touchscreen of the Z690 GODLIKE in detail

After its appearance in some images and photographs, MSI posted a new video where he details the functionalities of the 3.5 ″ screen (the same size as that of the iPhone 4) that your MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard will have, revealing that it will be tactile and removable:

What did you imagine the MEG Z690 GODLIKE would be like? The first motherboard with a built-in touchpad is finally here, supporting system settings and a separate mode. It is beyond your imagination!

While at first we believed that the screen would only serve the purpose of displaying information such as frequencies, temperatures, fan speeds, and other information, MSI revealed in the video that this screen will be tactile, significantly increasing its usability. In this way, the reset and power buttons, to increase and decrease the multiplier, or even the CLEAR CMOS buttons will not be physical buttons, but we will have to access them through this touch screen. Apparently in the video there will also be the possibility of making some adjustments directly from this screen, although as it is a preview, 100% of its possibilities were not shown.

The company also confirmed that this touch screen can be removed and connected using a USB cable, to be placed in another part that has a more convenient access than next to the RAM memories. It is not clear if any mechanism will be provided to mount it for example on the side of the cabinet or if we should see how to mount it, although surely such details will be known in a few weeks when the full announcement of this motherboard is made.

MSI is expected to announce the MSI MEG Z690 GODLIKE during CES 2022 in early January, although there is also the possibility that it will be announced in late December. What yes, it will not be economical at all, so we may only see it in photos.

What do you think about the touchscreen of the MSI MEG Z690 GODLIKE? Would you like to see something like this on more motherboards in the future or do you think it is unnecessary?
