MOSCOW, 29 Sep — PRIME. Leaks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines occurred due to sabotage, follows from a widespread NATO statement.
The EP ridiculed the accusations against Russia because of the emergency at Nord Stream
“The damage to the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines in the international waters of the Baltic Sea is of deep concern. All information currently available indicates that this was the result of a deliberate, irresponsible act of sabotage,” the document says.
It is noted that the alliance supports an investigation to establish the causes of damage. “These leaks pose a threat to shipping and damage the environment,” the document emphasizes.
The Alliance added that any attack on critical infrastructure of NATO countries will be followed by a strong response.
