New GPU Delivery Stats Unveiled. What do they show?

The analytical company Jon Peddie Research has revealed the results of GPU and CPU deliveries in the third quarter of this year. If it wasn’t for NVIDIA, it would be red.

JPR has traditionally presented new GPU delivery statistics

According to the information collected, global deliveries of graphics processors for PCs (both graphics cards and iGPUs) amounted to 101 million. General GPU deliveries increased by 12% compared to Q3 2020, but at the same time decreased by -18.2% compared to Q2. Going into detail, AMD shipments fell -11.4%, Intel shipments -25.6% and NVIDIA shipments grew 8.0%.

AMD’s overall percent of market share has risen 1.4% since the last quarter, but it’s NVIDIA who drinks the cream with its 4.86% increase. In turn, Intel’s market share fell by -6.2%. On the processor side, deliveries increased by 9.2% compared to the same period last year, but at the same time decreased by 23.1% compared to the previous quarter.
