Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Ti from Asus, MSI and Inno3D

After abdicating from the top performance segment for over a year, AMD returned with the Vega architecture, which did not take up the fight against Nvidia at the top but set its sights on the aging Geforce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. The latter met with fierce opposition from the Radeon RX Vega 56 , which at least on paper was launched with a competitive price.

Now Nvidia is responding to this with the new Geforce GTX 1070 Ti, which is located between the duo. This is not a completely new creation, but Nvidia has taken the well-proven graphics circuit GP104 and turned off only 1 of 20 SMX clusters instead of 5 for GTX 1070.

In today’s test, Nvidia’s reference model Founders Edition has found its way in, but also three other GTX 1070 Ti models from Asus, MSI and Inno3D. It’s time to see how the newcomer stands against the Radeon RX Vega 56, but also try to answer the question of what place the model has between its older siblings.
