In connection with the unveiling of the company’s company-oriented Quadro graphics card, Nvidia officially presented the upcoming graphics architecture Turing. On August 20, Nvidia will hold an event and according to information, the Geforce RTX 2080 will thus be able to be pre-booked at a price that is rumored to land close to SEK 10,000.

Videocardz recently published photos of the Geforce RTX 2080 and its big sibling RTX 2080 Ti from third-party manufacturer MSI. The website now publishes several product images for graphics cards in the Geforce RTX 2000 series, where the images are signed by the manufacturers Asus, Palit, EVGA and Zotac.

Asus shows three graphics cards with a consistent black color scheme, where the ROG Strix series offers a Geforce RTX 2080 equipped with a solid cooler accompanied by three fans. Next in line is a smaller variant of the graphics card with the Dual series, where the number of fans is instead two. Finally, it is about the RTX 2080 Ti in the Turbo series, where the cooling is controlled by a single radial fan.

American EVGA takes the opportunity to introduce a new series for Geforce RTX cards, where a Geforce RTX 2080 appears in the company’s photos. The series is called XC Ultra and the graphics card is equipped with a heat sink in aluminum and two fans, which are enclosed by a transparent housing.

Zotac shows both the Geforce RTX 2080 Ti and the variant without the Ti suffix, where they are both part of the reused “AMP” series. Geforce GTX 1000 graphics cards in the AMP series were equipped with two fans, but now it is instead about three, which are accompanied by a heat sink that extends outside the circuit board. Two 8-pin ATX connectors are responsible for the power supply.

Finally, Palit’s versions of the Geforce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti can be seen, where the models are included in the new Gamingpro and Gamingpro OC series. It is about cooling with the help of two fans flanked by a casing in black, gray and white. The cover for Geforce RTX 2080 has also been equipped with red accent color, while the equivalent for the more powerful card is beige.

The new graphics cards based on the architecture Turing will be unveiled during the evening on Monday 20 August. Specifications, price and model name have not yet been officially announced, but the information recently published by the manufacturer PNY can give an indication of what to expect.
