The euphoria from this autumn’s exciting graphics card launches was quickly replaced by enormous frustration. Manufacturing difficulties, component shortages and enormous demand have made it extremely difficult to obtain the latest generation of graphics cards from Nvidia and AMD. Anyone who has long looked forward to upgrading the gaming can at home must therefore kindly stand in line and in some cases wait several months.
However, this does not stop Nvidia from launching another card in the new Ampere family. Next in line is the Geforce RTX 3060, the new entry-level card in the Geforce RTX 3000 series with a focus on 1080p gaming. The test lab is visited by two partner models from Gigabyte and MSI, where, as usual, self-molded cooling solutions and factory overclocking are on the menu.
