As expected, Nvidia officially announced the GeForce RTX 3050 during its CES 2022 conference, bringing the full power of RTX to the X50 series for the first time. As revealed on its official website, it will have 2560 Cuda Cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, and a 128-bit bus, being an excellent option to play in 1080p.
As shown by Nvidia, the RTX 3050 offers up to twice the performance of the GTX 1650, making it a great option for 1080p gaming without shelling out a lot of money.
Its performance with RT and DLSS enabled is also excellent, surpassing 60 FPS in multiple games when activating DLSS, allowing you to enjoy playing with ray-tracing activated without breaking the bank. As the title indicates, the RTX 3050 will cost $ 249, so it will no longer be necessary to shell out so much money to access the benefits of the RTX line.
