Nvidia is planning a special edition of Cyberpunk 2077 graphics card

During the year 2020, two major events seem to take place, where the graphics cards in Nvidia’s Ampere generation are responsible for the hardware and Cyberpunk 2077 is responsible for the software. When Nvidia introduces Ampere to consumers is not known, but via the company’s Twitter account for the Geforce family it is revealed that something new is going on “soon”.

The hint comes as an answer to a Twitter post from the official account for Cyberpunk 2077, which asks if it’s time for a special edition of Nvidia’s graphics card for the game. After a few posts, the Geforce account responds briefly with a picture of a graphics card out of focus and a hint that something new will be revealed soon.

A special edition of a graphics card is most likely about performance models in Nvidia’s current range, where models such as the Geforce RTX 2080 Super or RTX 2080 Ti can showcase Cyberpunk 2077 at its best. However, speculation has already arisen about Nvidia choosing to introduce the Ampere generation Geforce 3000 series in the form of a Cyberpunk 2077 edition. However, the Twitter post does not reveal in what way the graphics cards are specially adapted for the game.
