The new graphics card is called Geforce GTX 650 Ti and is based on the processor GK106, which has been scaled down to 768 CUDA cores and 1 GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit memory bus. The clock frequencies are also lower than before and stay on the 925 MHz GPU and 5.4 GHz memory.

However, Nvidia gives partner manufacturers free rein to develop their own models, which means that there will be a battle stream of custom graphics cards with more memory, higher clock speeds and more lavish coolers in the coming days. These include models such as Asus DirectCU II, Gigabyte Windforce, MSI Power Edition and Zotac AMP.

The reference model measures 145 millimeters in length, connects to PCI Express 3.0 and is powered by a single 6-pin power connector – more than enough to meet the TDP value of 110 W. Video outputs are offered in the form of two dual-link DVI and a single Mini HDMI .

The first models based on the Geforce GTX 650 Ti will be available at dealers immediately with prices from around SEK 1,300 including VAT, depending on the model and manufacturer.
