Nvidia lowers Geforce GTX 770 and 780 – prices GTX 780 Ti

The launch of the Radeon 200 series is revitalizing the graphics card market and not just when it comes to performance. Aggressive pricing also puts pressure on competitor Nvidia. A few weeks ago, several graphics cards in the outgoing Geforce GTX 600 series were reduced in price and now it’s time again, but this time it is much more current models.

New prices for Geforce GTX 770, 780, 780 Ti

Geforce GTX 780 and 770 fall by 135 and 65 dollars at recommended prices of 499 and 329 dollars respectively. At Swedish retailers, the Geforce GTX 780 is now available from around SEK 4,190, while the cousin GTX 770 can be bought for around SEK 2,790. It can be compared to the closest competitors Radeon R9 290X and 280X at SEK 4,690 and SEK 2,490, including VAT.

At the same time, Nvidia announces that the new Geforce GTX 780 Ti will be released on November 7 at the recommended price of 699 dollars, which should correspond to a Swedish price of a little over 6,000 kronor. The newcomer is expected to perform better than today’s Geforce GTX Titan, which usually costs more than SEK 8,000 including VAT.

Last but not least, Nvidia is launching new gaming bundles. Anyone who buys a Geforce GTX 770, 780 or 780 Ti gets three games on the purchase: Batman – Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. For Geforce GTX 760 and GTX 660, two games apply: Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The offer is valid at selected retailers.
