Nvidia Releases Driver for Lawbreakers and Spiderman: Homecoming VR Experience

After working on cult classics such as the Unreal Tournament and also being the driving force behind the Gears of War series, it was time for Cliff Blezsinski to leave the company after 20 years at the Epic Games. Once independent, he started Boss Key Productions, which is now up to date with his first title – Lawbreakers.

Ahead of the open beta on June 30, Nvidia is loading up with optimized drivers, where both higher performance and stability are on the menu. The driver also adds optimizations for the VR game Spiderman: Homecoming VR experience.

Furthermore, a new function is added in the control panel where users can start a troubleshooting mode, whereupon changes in clock frequencies and power consumption are reset. Finally, most bugs are fixed, including uneven image updating in Prey and problems with streaming of DX12 titles.

The WHQL-certified driver has version number 384.76 and can be downloaded from Nvidia’s website and via the Geforce Experience software.
