Nvidia ships Battlefield V with purchase of Geforce RTX “Turing”

When launching new graphics cards, it is not uncommon for manufacturers to ship with games or software to entice purchases. Both Nvidia and AMD are good at this, and the former have previously bundled Destiny 2 with models in the Geforce GTX 1000 series.

Now Nvidia presents their latest offer, where they ship with the recently launched Battlefield V when buying graphics cards. Specifically, these are Geforce RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti as well as ready-made systems that are equipped with one of the graphics cards.

Battlefield V is currently the only game on the market that supports ray tracing in real time, which is also one of the big news with Nvidia’s Geforce RTX 2000 series. More game titles are to be expected, including Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Metro Exodus which is scheduled to be released in February 2019.

AMD also has a campaign for its graphics cards in the Radeon RX 500 and Radeon RX Vega series, where customers get Devil May Cry 5, The Division 2 and Resident Evil 2. When buying Radeon RX 590, Radeon RX Vega 56 and RX Vega 64 includes all games, while customers can only choose two of these when they buy RX 570 or RX 580.

Nvidia’s campaign runs from November 20 to January 7 and applies to all models from the Geforce RTX 2000 series.
