NVIDIA, was there a GeForce RTX 3090 SUPER? A photo seems to prove it

NVIDIA he intended to use the brand SUPER even with the generation of video cards GeForce RTX 3000. Last year, rumors suggested the return of the SUPER brand, first introduced in the summer of 2019 as a refresh of the GeForce RTX 2000 series, but in the end NVIDIA chose to opt for the “Ti” brand.

The interesting aspect is the completely black heatsink, different from the final RTX 3090 Ti design which provides a silver-colored frame. Also in the past few hours, a photo of one appeared on the net MSI’s GeForce RTX 3080, a Ventus 3X OC, with a whopping 20 GB of memory.

It is not the first time that the photo of an RTX 3080 with 20 GB of memory has emerged, a solution which was rumored to arrive on the market for a long time but which NVIDIA then decided to shelve, opting to renew the 3080 series with a model from 12 GB and a 3080 Ti with the same amount of memory. All this within hours of the alleged GeForce RTX 4080 leak.
