OPEC+ announced its readiness to adapt to changes in the oil market

MOSCOW, 5 Oct – PRIME. OPEC+ will adjust to the situation if it changes, even if it changes for the worse, said Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.

OPEC+ extends deal until the end of 2023
“And if the situation changes, then we will adapt. If it changes for the worse, we will adapt anyway,” he said during a press conference following the October meeting of the alliance.
OPEC+ has agreed to cut oil production by 2 million barrels per day from November, and will take production levels agreed for August as a baseline. OPEC + explained its decision by uncertainties around the global economy and forecasts for the oil market, follows from the alliance’s communiqué following the meeting on Wednesday.
