Peskov spoke about the objectivity of the investigation on Nord Stream

MOSCOW, 6 Oct — PRIME. Moscow, through diplomatic channels, received information that they do not want to allow it to investigate the emergency on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, Russia deeply regrets this decision, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

“So far, this position causes our deep regret,” he said.

The Kremlin spokesman stressed that without the participation of the Russian side, it would be impossible to conduct an objective investigation.

A gas leak on the strings of the Russian gas pipelines Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 was discovered on September 26 in the Baltic Sea. According to Swedish seismologists, powerful underwater explosions were recorded in the emergency area the day before. Germany, Denmark and Sweden did not rule out that the incidents could have been the result of targeted sabotage.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation initiated the initiation of a case on an act of international terrorism.
