Hungary did not support the lifting of the veto on foreign policy decisions in the European Union

He said the Philippines cannot safely rely on traditional suppliers and that his country is in talks with Russia to diversify the supply chain for food and agricultural essentials such as fertilizer.

“We need to find new sources of fuel. But this is not only about fuel, it is about things like feed, fertilizers and other resources that are simply critical to us,” the president said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.

He added that “the Philippines is close to reaching an agreement with Russia.”
