MOSCOW, 1 Oct — PRIME. Western countries are breaking off relations with Russia, despite the damage to their own interests – Senator Alexei Pushkov pointed out this circumstance in his Telegram channel.
Europe lost its last chance for a calm winter
As an example, he cited Germany, where the ruling circles, as the energy crisis worsens, are waiting for “radical challenges for the authorities” in the form of social protests and unrest.
However, the German authorities do not intend to change their energy policy, the senator noted.
“The big gap between the West and Russia is acquiring finished features,” Pushkov concluded.
