Radeon RX 5600 in two versions? What will the specifications be?

After the first rumors of the past few days, the arrival of one Radeon RX 5600 video card series in the first part of next year it seems to become more probable.

In recent days the names of new Asus and ASRock cards have appeared in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), among which peeps a “non-XT” RX 5500, an RX 5600 and an RX 5600 XT.

Among other things, the names suggest that the two RX 5600 will be available with 6 and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, although it cannot be excluded that the amount of 8 GB indicated by Asus is an error, as Videocardz confirms that Gigabyte is working on models with 6 GB of memory.

According to what has been seen with the new Radeon RX 5500 XT, the two Radeon RX 5600 will probably compete with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER and GTX 1660 Ti cards.

As for the others specific, the RX 5600 solutions could be based on a castrated version of Navi 10 or an unpublished GPU. We assume 2048/1792 active stream processors, accompanied by a 192-bit bus and precisely 6 GB of memory set at 12 Gbps. However, these are mere speculations, at the moment there are no confirmations, concrete indications or release dates for the alleged new AMD proposals.
