The world has just spread the information that Micron has started working with AMD and will provide new graphics cards with GDDR6 memory chips. At first glance, this does not mean much, but in practice it could make the availability of AMD’s Radeon RX 6000s increase.
Micron’s press release doesn’t reveal much, though the content is traditionally bloated. The most important thing is that the company, in cooperation with AMD, designed and started the production of GDDR6 memory chips with a capacity of 16 Gb (2 GB) and a speed of 16 Gb / s using the 1z process.
