The launch of AMD’s upcoming graphics card Radeon RX 6800 XT is not far off, and the manufacturer itself has by now released official performance figures as well as product images. However, the product images only extend to one card at a time, which is why estimates of the product’s size have been difficult to make.
Videocardz now reports that Lenovo’s product manager for desktop gaming computers at Weibo compared what appears to be a reference model of the Radeon RX 6800 XT to the OEM version of the Geforce RTX 3070. The AMD graphics card also appears to 100% follow AMD’s reference design , with the difference that the cooling solution goes completely in black, in contrast to the previously shown silver variants.
Lenovo also looks to provide the card with a bracket to stabilize the graphics card in its chassis, as its home will be prefabricated computers. Otherwise, the Radeon RX 6800 XT looks to physically take up a similar area as the Geforce RTX 3070, with a thickness of 2.5 expansion slots. In the case of Lenovo, the Radeon logo will also be the only available light effect, something that is demonstrated in one of the manufacturer’s systems.
The launch of AMD’s graphics card in the Radeon RX 6800 series will take place on November 18 – but as SweClockers previously reported, the supply can also be slim on graphics cards from the red team.
