MOSCOW, 19 Sep — PRIME. The Association of Trading Companies and Producers of Electrical Household and Computer Equipment (RATEK) recalled the mandatory conditions for the legal sale of the iPhone 14 in the Russian Federation, the corresponding statement of the association is at the disposal of RIA Novosti.

“The RATEK Association, which unites the largest participants in the home appliances and electronics market, brings to the attention of market companies and consumers information about the mandatory conditions for the legal release of new smartphone models into circulation on the Russian market, in particular the iPhone 14 series,” the statement says.
It is clarified that a prerequisite is the availability of documents confirming the compliance of the device with the mandatory requirements established by the technical regulations of the EAEU (certificates, declarations), as well as the presence of a notification on the characteristics of encryption (cryptographic) means and goods of the EAEU or the conclusion of a center for licensing, certification and protection of state secrets FSB.
“Without the presence of these documents, these goods cannot legally circulate on the Russian market,” the statement says. RIA Novosti sent a request to retailers about the availability of the necessary documents.
On Friday, September 16, the press service of the Ozon marketplace reported that Russians can purchase new iPhone 14s on the Ozon marketplace with express delivery on the same day. At the same time, MTS opened pre-orders for the iPhone 14 in the operator’s retail stores. The M.Video-Eldorado group (which unites the two largest Russian chains of household appliances and electronics) told the agency at the end of August that it had also started accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 14.
Apple on September 7 introduced the basic iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus with a larger screen. Phones will be available in five colors, they are equipped with screens of 6.1 and 6.7 inches. The start of sales of standard versions in America is scheduled for September 16, Pro – from October 7. Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov told RIA Novosti that the new iPhone 14 will be delivered to Russia through parallel imports.
