Realme Race Pro gets Snapdragon 888, 160Hz display, NFC and 5000mA * s battery with 125W charging

The Chinese company Realme has announced only two smartphones this year. Last week it introduced the $ 100 C20 budget model, and two weeks ago it launched the V15 mid-range model starting at $ 230. In the near future, the X9 Pro smartphone on Dimensity 1200 will appear in the brand’s assortment, and the flagship of the new generation Realme Race Pro will be another novelty.

The model will be powered by a 5nm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 8-12GB of RAM. In the maximum modification, the smartphone will receive a built-in flash drive with a capacity of 512 GB. Versions with 256 GB and 128 GB of permanent memory will also be available.

Realme Race Pro will be equipped with a rechargeable battery with a charging capacity of 5000 mAh. One of the features of the upcoming novelty will be support for fast wired charging with a record power of 125 watts.

The smartphone is credited with a 6.8-inch Quad HD + OLED panel with 160Hz refresh rate support. The dot density will be around 515 ppi. The display will receive support for the HDR10 + standard and a built-in fingerprint scanner.

The main camera resolution will be 64 Mp + 13 Mp + 13 Mp. The parameters of the optical modules have not been specified, but with almost 100 percent certainty it can be argued that Realme Race Pro will acquire both an ultra-wide-angle module and a telephoto lens. Still, it’s hard to believe in the presence of two telephoto modules. Front camera specifications were not disclosed.

In the flagship, we will not see a headphone jack, stereo speakers, water resistance and support for wireless charging. At the same time, Realme Race Pro will receive a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 controllers, a GPS navigation module and an Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 firmware.
