MOSCOW, 29 Sep — PRIME. Rosseti Group is completing the preparation of facilities in the Siberian Federal District (SFD) for the autumn-winter period of 2022/2023. The amount of funding for the repair program has been increased by 300 million rubles compared to 2021, to 7.7 billion rubles, said Andrey Ryumin, CEO of the company, during a meeting of the federal headquarters in Irkutsk chaired by Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov.

The action plan includes the repair of 5,084 units of substation equipment and 7,344 km of power transmission lines of 35 kV and above, the clearing of vegetation from almost 14,300 hectares of power lines clearings. The emergency stock of equipment and materials is formed by 100%. More than 1,070 teams and 563 standby power sources (47.8 MW in total) have been prepared for emergency recovery operations.

“The companies of the Rosseti group in Siberia have been reducing the number of technological disruptions occurring in the autumn-winter period for more than three years in a row. We expect to maintain this positive trend. All major repairs will be completed in September. At the same time, we continue to implement the investment program, including projects, which directly affect reliability. The planned amount of financing for 2022 is 68 billion rubles,” Ryumin said.

By the end of the year, Rosseti will put into operation in the Siberian Federal District more than 180 MVA of new transformer capacity and almost 800 km of transmission lines. Several major projects have already been completed, including the reconstruction of the 220 kV Mezhdurechenskaya substation in Kuzbass, and the modernization of several power centers in the Tomsk Region.
