MOSCOW, 7 Oct – PRIME. The BNB blockchain, owned by cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has been suspended due to an alleged hack.

“Due to suspected illegal activity (hackers), we are temporarily suspending operations… Initial estimates of funds withdrawn from BSC are between $70 million and $80 million,” the blockchain said on social media.
The statement notes that approximately seven million of this amount has already been frozen, “thanks to internal and external security partners.”
The Binance exchange has confirmed that it is suspending all deposits and withdrawals through the BNB network.
