MOSCOW, 5 Oct – PRIME. Russia and Myanmar are negotiating the supply of LNG and oil products to the country, as well as the involvement of Russian enterprises in the modernization of the country’s oil refining complex. This was told in an interview with RIA Novosti by the director of the third department of Asia of the Russian Foreign Ministry Nikolai Nozdrev.
“Russia and Myanmar are also developing cooperation in the energy sector. On the agenda are the supply of Russian energy carriers to Myanmar, including oil products and liquefied natural gas,” he said.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlein said that the country had already begun to import oil products from Russia and was ready to pay in rubles.
