Ryzen CPU Stock Could Be Affected by New Mining Algorithm

Raptoreum cryptocurrency is attracting a lot of miners right now, especially since it is mined with CPUs, as CPUs are hard to come by. Surprisingly, AMD Ryzen 9 and Threadripper CPUs are the best for mining Raptoreum due to their huge L3 cache.

And unsurprisingly the current CPU shortage is driven by Raptoreum miners, because GPUs are hard to come by.

This Crypto is based on a combination of Cryptonite and x16r algorithms with some modifications here and there, in this way it benefits from the L3 cache of modern CPUs.

CPUs with the largest L3 cache sizes belong to AMD’s Threadripper family with up to 256MB. However, since these CPUs are priced high, miners are working with the Ryzen 9 5900, Ryzen 9 3900X, and other models with 64MB of L3 cache.

The average hash speed of the Ryzen 9 3900X or 5900X on Raptoreum is 5,100 H / s with optimized memory times (CL14 / CL16). These CPUs consume up to 190W when overclocked and are used for mining.

At this point Raptoreum has just surpassed Monero in terms of mining profitability.

A week ago Intel launched its 12 generation CPUs that clearly outperform the Ryzen 5000, where the community expected a price cut, which we clearly will not see for obvious reasons.
