Judging by the high popularity of GTA games, even generations later, titles bring Rockstar big money. The company is estimated to have made over $ 6 billion in 2018 from GTA 5, which is considered relatively new even today. More recently, the studio announced that the game will be re-released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Now, more information has appeared on a larger scale.
The dialogue between two Rockstar Games insiders (Mach1bud and WildBrick142) gave fans of old legendary games hope to see remasters on the new engine. The administrator of one of the forums dedicated to GTA 5 added the tags III and SA and VC to the post “Soon”. They, you guessed it, represent three games: GTA III, San Andreas and Vice City.
Shortly thereafter, the first insider under the nickname Mach1bud changed his message, adding that the re-releases of the cult Rockstar titles are just around the corner. At the end of the message, it was said that gamers themselves will understand what is at stake in 90 days, that is, in the last days of April this year. Whether the information is reliable, no one knows. Previously, it was assumed that the studio is working on GTA 6. Therefore, in order to combine the development of a new part and remasters, the company will need to hire many times more employees and the creation process will take longer than 90 days.
