Sapphire Radeon R9 390 Nitro

The latest addition to AMD’s graphics card catalog was launched this summer with the new graphics circuit Fiji, where the new memory technology HBM received a lot of attention. The news from the summer, however, is not only circulated to the enthusiast segment, AMD also launched the new old Radeon 300 series.

Most notable in the new series were the Radeon R9 390 and R9 390X, which house the graphics circuit Grenada, formerly known as Hawaii in the R9 290 and R9 290X. This includes a solid memory buffer of 8 GB GDDR5 clocked at 6,000 MHz, for a bandwidth of 384 GB / s.

With a lavish cooler and increased GPU frequency, the Sapphire Radeon R9 390 Nitro now takes its place in the test lab and takes up the fight against Nvidia’s popular performance card Geforce GTX 970. Keep up with SweClockers on a proper review!
