The new version of the music app MusiXMatch brings a renewed design, but also a functionality free, which previously could only be achieved by paying. You can save song lyrics no need to buy the PREMIUM subscription.
Downloading lyrics from MusiXmatch for offline viewing required a subscription of $ 1 per month or $ 12 per year. But now you can get this premium feature without paying a single penny and legally.
What the app developers have done is build on the freemium model. In order to save lyrics offline in MusiXmatch you will need to see an ad. Once seen, the lyrics will be downloaded to the cell phone, and you can see it, even if you don’t have a connection.
On the playback screen, tap the menu button (top right). Choose the option Save offline. Choose the free option and look at the advertising. After closing it, the lyrics will automatically be saved to be able to view it later without internet.
The lyrics are displayed exactly the same in offline mode. Even with the same timing.
Unfortunately, this offline lyrics saving feature will only be applicable for music saved on your cell phone. If you save the lyrics of a song from Spotify, you will not be able to see it offline (even if you have downloaded the Spotify music) and even if you use the Floatify option.
Another disadvantage is that you have to see an ad for each letter you want to download. The problem is, these are usually multi-second video ads, and you have to finish watching them before you can download the lyrics.
