Security measures at nuclear power plants have been strengthened in the Zaporozhye region
SIMFEROPOL, 1 Sep — PRIME. Security measures at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) were strengthened due to shelling and landing of Ukrainian troops, said Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main council of the Zaporozhye region administration.
The fifth power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP was stopped due to shelling
He added that all forces were brought to the highest level of readiness in case of new provocations from the Kyiv regime.
A Ukrainian landing force of saboteurs, consisting of 60 people, landed a few kilometers from the ZNPP after a massive shelling of the city of Energodar. Russian troops identified him and launched artillery strikes. According to authorities, up to 40 paratroopers were killed.
