The Ministry of Transport said that the entire volume of transportation to the Crimea will be provided
“At the end of August, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission on Improving the Stability of the Economy, it was decided to further support the energy infrastructure of the peninsula. For this purpose, we will allocate another 1 billion rubles to the Russian entity this year,” Mishustin said at a government meeting.
He also clarified that the funds will be used for the maintenance and repair of critical equipment and for the installation of modern metering devices, as well as for equipping personnel with all the necessary technical means.
“We will direct funding to enhance the security of grid and other facilities. Thanks to such measures, the reliable operation of the Crimean energy system, which is of key importance for the sustainable growth of the region’s economy and the well-being of local residents, will be ensured,” the head of government said.
