BELGRADE, 4 Sep – PRIME. Serbia has almost completely provided gas reserves for the upcoming heating season, it receives two-thirds of the required volumes from Russia at the most favorable price, and buys the rest on the market, Dusan Bajatović, director of the state company Srbiyagaz, said.

“We have the best price in Europe, which is calculated according to the oil formula, as agreed by the presidents of Serbia and Russia Aleksandar Vučić and Vladimir Putin,” Bajatović said on TV Prva.
According to him, volumes are now reserved at the level of last year’s spent gas volumes.
“To date, 350 million cubic meters have been pumped into storage in Hungary, and we continue to place them for storage under the previously reached agreement. will be pumped before the end of September, so we will have significant reserves,” the director of the state-owned company said.
Bajatović specified that Serbia had never paid more than $900 per thousand cubic meters for gas volumes on the market.
According to him, the price of gas from Russia, according to the oil formula, is now $368 per thousand cubic meters.
“In the next quarter, it will reach $420 per thousand cubic meters, in the first quarter of 2023 – $430, and then, if there are no jumps in oil prices, it will fall to $388 per thousand cubic meters,” the director of Srbiyagaz said.
