Bitwala integrates cryptocurrency tax calculation solution

The German crypto-banking application Bitwala has announced the integration of a tax and tax calculation solution called CryptoTax. The application calculates the taxes due in accordance with the local law and the reports are generated free of charge for the fiscal year 2019.

For now, CryptoTax has integrated reporting systems in Germany and Switzerland. In the near future, it can be used by Bitwala customers in the 31 countries of the European Economic Area.

Opera supports Bitcoin and TRON dApps payments

Opera browser has added support for bitcoin payments to the latest version of Android.
This means that Android users can send and receive Bitcoins through the embedded wallet of the browser.

Opera has also added support for the TRON blockchain and decentralized applications in its Android app. ETH and ERC-20 tokens have been accepted since December last year.

In June, Opera launched a web browser with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet for iOS users as well.

Bittrex moves from Malta to Liechtenstein

Bittrex Exchange has announced that it will move its headquarters from Malta’s “Blockchain Island” to Liechtenstein.
Although the reason for the decision has not been disclosed, Bittrex International, which operates from Malta, will be closed on October 29. It is interesting to note that last month, the Malta Financial Supervisory Authority said it would “actively monitor” the licensed crypto companies from the perspective of preventing money laundering.

After closing in Malta, Bittrex will operate under the Bittrex Global brand, registered in Liechtenstein.

Last week, Bittrex announced it would suspend operations in 31 countries later this month.

Revolut is expanding in partnership with Mastercard

Crypto-friendly startup Revolut has partnered with payment giant Mastercard to launch debit cards in the US. Under the agreement, Mastercard will issue a minimum of 50% of all existing and future Revolut cards in Europe.

The partnership will allow Revolut, based in London, to expand into the countries of Asia and Latin America. These include Australia, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil and Mexico, according to the official statement.

Revolut cards will be accepted by merchants from 210 countries where Mastercard operates.

Last month, Revolut also partnered with Visa to expand its services to 24 new markets, including the US and Canada. Revolut currently offers both cryptocurrency and stock trading services through its applications.
