Sony Alpha ZV-1: here is the new camera for VLOG

Sony released a first small preview on the camera ZV-1, a new model that will be officially unveiled next 26 May. Known details are currently few but already allow to frame the intended use of this product. It will be a compact model addressed to all those who create video-blog.

In the image that accompanies the post on Twitter, you can see a camera equipped with one fully articulated screen with side opening and folding at 180 °. This type of display, very common for example on Canon cameras, allows you to easily check the frame, a very useful function for those who have to shoot themselves without the help of an operator.

From the blog Sony Alpha Rumors instead, the first images and some (unofficial) rumors about the specifications leaked. The design and dimensions should be similar to those of the compact Sony RX100 VII but with aimproved handle. There is also talk of an oversized button for recording videos (always from a VLOG perspective) and a 1 "sensor with a resolution of 20 megapixels.

The lens should have a focal length of 24 – 70 mm with opening F1.8 – 2.8, in fact the equipment that was on the RX100 before the sixth generation. The ZV-1 would also have a built-in ND filter and a autofocus with EyeAF (eye detection). Finally, the budget would include a function that realizes thebokeh effect with a single touch.
