Surgutneftegaz plans to produce 60 million tons of oil in 2022
MOSCOW, 13 Oct – PRIME. Surgutneftegaz plans to produce oil at the level of 60 million tons by the end of the year, if there is no force majeure, Deputy General Director Nikolai Kiselev told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week.
Novak announced stable oil production in Russia
“The same, 60 million tons, no change, if there is no force majeure,” he said, answering a question about the forecast for oil production for the current year.
Surgutneftegaz produced 54.8 million tons of oil the year before last. This corresponded to a share of 10.7% in the total volume of oil production in Russia (512.8 million tons). The company’s production for the first half of last year amounted to 26.7 million tons of oil, which was 7% less in annual terms. Surgutneftegaz did not publish an annual report on the results of the entire 2021.
