Sweden and Denmark are concerned about the impact of leaks at Nord Stream on the climate

ZURICH (Switzerland), September 30 — PRIME. Gas leaks at Nord Stream will have significant climate consequences, according to a joint statement released by the Permanent Missions of Sweden and Denmark to the UN.

The media called the volume of gas losses “Nord Streams”
The letter was published by Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde on the eve of an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with sabotage at Nord Stream, which is scheduled for 22.00 Moscow time on Friday. As Linde wrote on her Twitter, it is important that the discussion be based on facts.
“Possible impacts on the marine life of the Baltic Sea are of concern, and the impact on the climate is likely to be very significant due to the large volumes of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere,” the Swedish foreign minister said in a statement.
