The EC spoke about the number of supplies of alternative gas for Europe
BRUSSELS, September 30 — PRIME. The European Union this year replaced 43 billion cubic meters of Russian gas with fuel from alternative suppliers, European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson said at a press conference after an extraordinary meeting of EU energy ministers.
Energy ministers of EU countries did not agree on a price ceiling for Russian gas
“We diversified supply routes, we were able to attract additional volumes of LNG. And by doing this, we were able to replace 43 billion cubic meters of Russian gas with alternatives this year,” she said.
