MOSCOW, Sep 27 – PRIME. The Swedish Maritime Administration on Tuesday issued a warning about two gas leaks on the Nord Stream pipeline, Reuters reports.
A pressure drop was recorded on both threads of the Nord Stream
“Two leaks were found on Nord Stream 1: one in the Swedish economic zone, and the other in the Danish one. The leaks are located very close to each other,” a representative of the Swedish Maritime Administration told the agency.
It is specified that the leaks occurred to the north-east of the Danish island of Bornholm. The reason has not been established.
On Monday evening, the Nord Stream operator Nord Stream AG announced a decrease in pressure on both strings of the gas pipeline.
In addition, earlier on the same day, pressure dropped sharply on Line A of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
