TESTING: GEFORCE GT 1030 with GAMES – FPS| GT 1030 games list| Good for Gaming? – Another budget graphics card from NVIDIA joined the 10th series of the GeForce line on May 17, 2017. The NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 graphics adapter is an entry-level solution and, like the older models of the series, is implemented on the Pascal graphics architecture. With a cost of $ 70, the new product in the price range can compete with AMD’s video card – Radeon RX 550.

SPECIFICATIONS GEFORCE GT 1030

The manufacturer’s recommended minimum system power requirements are 300 watts. The reference sample of the video card measures 17 centimeters in length and 12 in height. The width is 2 slots. In terms of connectors for graphics output, the model has DisplayPort 1.4, DVI and HDMI 2.0b.

Of the technologies supported by the video adapter, we note DirectX 12, GPU Boost 3.0, GameWorks and Vulkan. VR Ready technology is not supported. It also lacks support for GameStream, G-Sync and Ansel.

The GeForce GT 1030 does not claim to be a gaming graphics card. Officially, NVIDIA is positioning it as a replacement for integrated solutions such as Intel HD 530. Nevertheless, the GT 1030 has enough power to run even some demanding games with FullHD resolution at low or medium graphics settings tolerably. True, without anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. TESTING THE GEFORCE GT 1030 IN GAMES -Average FPS

If we compare the gaming performance of the GT 1030 with previous generations of video cards, then it can be on par with the GeForce GTX 750 . Some partner models, for example KFA2 GeForce GT 1030 EXOC White , received increased clock speeds, as a result of which gaming performance can be slightly faster than GTX 750. Thus, having an average Russian price tag of 5200 rubles, this video adapter turned out to be quite suitable in its segment product.
