Bulgarian authorities acknowledged the inevitability of negotiations with Gazprom

It is reported that “the Deputy Prime Minister clearly stated that the Bulgarian government does not intend to negotiate a new short, medium or long-term contract with Gazprom Export, but only talks about receiving volumes under the current contract.”

At a meeting with Ditte Jull-Jorgensen, head of the Energy Directorate of the European Commission, Aleksiev said that the technical government would not deal with issues of gas agreements.
