SIMFEROPOL, 1 Sep — PRIME. The counter-terrorist operation in the area of the Zaporozhye NPP continues, while the situation at the facility itself is calm, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporizhzhya region.

He added that 47 people from the Ukrainian landing were destroyed and neutralized, including three captured, 12 were blocked and cut off from the water and the ability to evacuate.
The attempt to seize the nuclear power plant by Ukrainian paratroopers was carried out under the control of the British special services, Rogov added, citing information from sources close to Zelensky.
According to him, the paratroopers were trained abroad.
Rogov also said that the paratroopers blocked in the vicinity of Energodar should surrender, otherwise they will be destroyed.
“The situation at the Zaporozhye NPP is calm. The level of radiation is within the natural background,” Rogov said.
On Thursday, Ukrainian troops in the amount of 60 people landed a few kilometers from the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant after a massive shelling of the city of Energodar. The sabotage groups were identified, and artillery strikes were carried out against them. Authorities reported that up to 40 paratroopers were killed.
