The European Commission is considering the possibility of introducing a price limit for LNG
BRUSSELS, 7th — PRIME. The European Commission is studying the possibility of imposing a price cap on reduced natural gas (LNG) in the European Union, but wants the region to remain competitive for suppliers, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said at a press conference.
The EC has prepared decisions to stop the simplified visa regime for Russians
“We are now looking at ensuring that we remain competitive for LNG suppliers, but that the prices we pay are not extremely high … Therefore, we are also looking at this,” she answered a question about the possibility of introducing a price cap on LNG.
