MOSCOW, 1 Oct — PRIME. The assistance offered by London to Denmark in investigating the emergency at Nord Stream is a “fight of foxes for the rights of chickens,” according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The fight of foxes for the rights of chickens,” wrote the official representative of the ministry, Maria Zakharova, in her Telegram channel, commenting on information about London’s help in investigating the terrorist attacks on Nord Stream.
The UK has offered Denmark assistance in investigating the Nord Stream attacks, Downing Street reported on Saturday. British Prime Minister Liz Truss met with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on Saturday at the Government House, according to the release. They discussed the state of emergency at Nord Stream, as well as cooperation between Britain and Denmark in the energy sector.
