The Foreign Ministry told how Russia will respond to the introduction of a ceiling on oil prices
MOSCOW, 6 Oct — PRIME. Russia will respond to the EU’s oil price cap by diverting its exports to countries willing to cooperate with Moscow, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
The Foreign Ministry said that energy cooperation between Russia and the EU is now in question
“Our response will be to reorient oil exports to those countries that are ready to cooperate with us normally,” she said at a briefing.
According to Zakharova, the G7 initiative to limit fuel prices only once again confirms that Brussels and Washington are far from the principles of a market economy.
Earlier, the European Union introduced the eighth package of anti-Russian sanctions, which involves limiting the price of Russian oil transported by sea.
