MOSCOW, Sep 27 – PRIME. The housing associations of France are discussing the issue of disconnecting houses from central heating due to high gas prices, according to France TV.

France to end support for fossil fuel projects
As the TV channel notes, many French people are not able to pay for gas and therefore are forced to refuse to purchase “blue fuel”. According to one of the homeowners, the amount of payment for heating amounted to more than 7.6 thousand euros per year (over 431 thousand rubles – ed.)
“I think it’s simply unrealistic, we won’t be able to pay that much. At first, I hoped that the authorities would certainly take some measures, but time passes and nothing happens,” said the owner of the property.
Also, France TV cites the opinion of the manager of one of the houses, who said that some residents are in favor of disconnecting their homes from central heating and are thinking about purchasing electric heaters.
