The head of Gazprom Neft spoke about sanctions against Russian fuel
MOSCOW, 13 Oct – PRIME. The Russian oil industry has not been in a “warm bath” for a long time, various kinds of sanctions against it have been in effect for 8 years, said Alexander Dyukov, head of Gazprom Neft.
The US does not plan to introduce secondary sanctions for the purchase of Russian oil
“If we take the Russian oil industry, then we have definitely not been in a warm bath for a long time. Because we received the first sanctions 8 years ago. At first, these were sectoral sanctions, including financial ones,” Dyukov said at the session of the Russian Energy Week .
“Over these 8 years, on the one hand, we have been working under fairly tough sanctions, and on the other hand, we have simultaneously overcome a serious challenge – this is the deterioration in the quality of the reserves with which we worked,” he added.
