VLADIVOSTOK, 6 Sep — PRIME. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade expects the commissioning of the first two Arctic gas carriers being built at the Zvezda shipyard for Novatek’s Arctic LNG 2 project in the near future, Viktor Yevtukhov, state secretary and deputy head of the ministry, said.
The deadlines for the implementation of the first phase of the Arctic LNG 2 plant have been announced
“Those vessels that are necessary for use and use in the Arctic are, first of all, Arctic gas carriers … We expect the first two to be commissioned in the near future together with colleagues from Zvezda,” said Yevtukhov, speaking at the session “NSR: faster, more reliable , more efficient” at the WEF.
The WEF takes place on September 5-8 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island in Vladivostok. RIA Novosti acts as the general media partner of the forum.
