MOSCOW, 14 Oct – PRIME. The Netherlands has frozen the validity of patents owned by Russian oil and gas companies, the local television and radio broadcasting corporation NOS reported, citing the relevant department.

The Netherlands explained the reluctance to introduce a limit on gas prices
As specified, the measure affected Gazprom, Rosneft and Transneft, which fell under EU sanctions.
Now Dutch enterprises will be able to reproduce the products of these companies without fear of possible consequences, which will make it difficult for Russian firms to operate in the Netherlands.
In addition, the office noted that getting rid of Russian patents is due to their “depreciation”.
