The Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 for laptops will be launched at CES 2017

CES 2017 is approaching and for the sake of rarity, it looks like components will take a big place at the fair. Apart from Intel with Kaby Lake for enthusiasts, there are rumors that Nvidia plans to unveil the Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, but this is not the only news expected by the graphics giant.

In August, Nvidia Geforce launched the GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060 for laptops, where the performance of each model should only be 5-10 percent below the desktop counterparts. However, these can only be found in more expensive computers for around SEK 14,000 and up.

Digitimes now reports that Nvidia will remedy this during CES 2017, which will be the launch platform for the Geforce GTX 1050 for laptops. It is worth adding that the industry magazine does not mention anything about the GTX 1050 Ti, which according to previous information should perform better than the former performance card GTX 970M.
